Delegate Crockett-Stark
This committee failed to support HB514 submitted by Del. Crockett-Stark. They obviously need to be reminded that a “Cumberland Park” can happen to their constituents under present law.
Note that the committee consists of 14 Republicans and 9 Democrats.
ABCS is a Republican and couldn't muster a majority from her committee to forward this bill????
When she ran for election the first time, she campaigned that she would have an advantage over her Democrat opponent, Benny Keister, because she would be in the majority by way of being a Republican.
Thusfar, that hasn't proven to be much of a benefit.
